Curious Question: Why does this blog exist?

People are always telling me, "Greg, no one has ever asked that question before -- and that's not necessarily a good thing."

I decided to make it a good thing, at least for wasting my time and, I hope, yours.

Why catalogue vs. catalog (when one is used in the title and the other in the URL)? I felt like classing things up while still keeping them easy to remember.

Plus, "Ye Olde Scripts Regarding the Congreff of Stuff" had already been taken.
